Sail Details: The mainsail is constructed of a light weight 4 ounce per yard heavily resinated (crispy), squareweave ripstop Dimension-Polyant cloth. The roach is pushed to the maximum. This is a very all-purpose mainsail with a fair amount of luff curve to give more gears through the wind range. The jib is constructed from a 5.5 ounce Challenge squareweave ripstop cloth with a super-large mylar window panel. The heavier fabric on the jib really adds to durability and doesn't make you cringe so bad when the jib is flogging in the pre-start. The mylar window panel goes from almost luff to leech. Crews love the big window because they can see what is going on. The huge radial spinnaker is a handful. If you want to plane sooner than anyone else on the racecourse and pull away on the runs this is the kite for you. The 'chicken' version is a slimmed down kite. Still to max measurement dimensions but with smaller shoulders and a better/higher reaching shape.
